Rosebank Lodge & Backpacker and Monte Casino Lodge & Backpacker are our latest creations to become Part of The Lodge & Backpacker Johannesburg Group.

Accoustix Lodge and Backpacker and Sleek Travel Lodge & Backpacker and have been in existence for 8 yrs, through our many years of experience in this industry we have now created these flagship Lodges.

Just opened the doors on June the 1st had some teething problems, getting the staff and management up to speed to deal with the enormous volumes of people that arrived at the beginning of the soccer, and sorting out the newly installed Gas Geyser, all is now up to the same service and quality as our other Lodges. Thank you for your understanding over this period.

Rosebank has super friendly staff that are on duty 24 hours a day, allowing you to have a seriously laid back attitude to life, you'll feel welcome and chilled in Rosebank. Spend time in our Fairytale Garden with 100 Year old trees and enjoy late afternoon there, where you can join other travelers for a drink , or cool out by the pool and stretch out under the lapa where you can braai your dinner, you will find just about everything you'd need here from, a Tour and Travel desk to an Outdoor Terrace to soak up the rays. Novels can be exchanged, a communal kitchen is open to all, WIFI and internet access will allow guests to hook up on line. Our laundry facilities are on hand - for all those folk who have just come off of safari (or tried their hand at a game soccer - in the spirit of FIFA)!

Rosebank is a great area to stay in, it is situated in a upmarket suburb of JHB next to Sandton and is the place to go to , to be part of a true cosmopolitan multicultural South African experience. Experience alternative shopping and a myriad of entertainment. The Rosebank Mall Hosts the famous Rosebank Craft market weekly and the African Curio Market daily.
There is the art Nuvoux Theatre, Cinemas, Galleries, Shopping Centers, bars and Clubs all within walking distance of the Lodge.

Rooms/dorms are clean, basic and pretty quiet. Fresh linen is provided, private rooms en-suite have designer bathrooms and all beds have plush duvets for added warmth.

The pick up point and drop off point for the bus service that takes people to the FIFA World Cup games is within walking distance of the Lodge.
